Here comes...er, I mean "There went" Peter Cottontail....

Here are some pictures from Easter/Spring break. We drove up to Mom's on Saturday morning. After lunch Mom & I went to the flea market.

This is what Mom got at the flea market. Her name is Dixie and she's a chocolate particolor Pomeranian. Weighs in at a whopping 2 pounds.
Spike loves Dixie.
The venerable old man... er... dog, I mean. I can't believe Robin is 15 years old.
The Easter eggs. The really big ones are double yolk eggs Mom got at the flea market. The kids have decided that they LOOOOVVVEEE boiled eggs. I never make them at home because I hate them and Bill's not crazy about them either.
Kids & baskets of eggs. Courtney was the Easter bunny this year.

We returned home Wednesday, and Mom, Dad, Courtney & Dixie followed.

On the way to the beach on Friday. Don't worry, I was holding Spike's harness, so he couldn't fall out.

Of course, the first thing Benjamin did was fall in the water. It was a nice spring day, but still a little cool for swimming!!!
Afterwards we went to Bruster's for ice cream. They gave Spike a free doggie Sundae. It was vanilla ice cream with a dog biscuit in it. How cool is that??? Spike loved it, and Dixie was going nuts over the smell of the ice cream, so we shared a plastic spoonful of it with her.

The kids have been practicing riding their bikes. Mackenzie is absolutely fearless and she's becoming a major speed demon. We're going to have to fix up our old bikes because it's getting really hard to keep up with her on foot. Benjamin is much more um... let's say "safely concious". But they're both improving. Also here are a couple pics of the new gold fish. They're red & white ryukins.
